Most schools say they want to develop student leaders. Fewer have the time or room in the schedule to do it well. Test prep, bell schedules, and tight budgets tend to push leadership development into a one-day assembly or a single speaker, and then it’s gone.

Tailor-Made for Impact (TMFI) takes a different approach. It’s a 10-month leadership program for middle and high school students that runs as a student-led after-school club. It doesn’t touch the school day, and it doesn’t ask your teachers to add a new curriculum to an already full load.

Regimus is selecting a small group of founding districts to launch TMFI in August 2027.

What students actually do

Students work through a 180-plus-page leadership blueprint covering identity, leadership, service, and practical action. Because the club is student-led, the students run it. They set goals, make decisions, and carry out the work themselves.

Over the school year, they:

  • Identify their strengths and build confidence speaking up
  • Spot real needs in their community and plan projects to address them
  • Take part in service work and lead club activities
  • Meet business leaders and mentors who show them what comes next
  • Build experience they can use on résumés and college applications

The point is repetition. Leadership is a skill, and skills improve with steady practice over months, not a single event.

What it asks of your district

We kept the ask small on purpose.

  • A staff advisor for each club. The role is light-touch supervision. Students do the leading, and the advisor keeps things safe and on track.
  • Training, from us. Regimus trains advisors before launch, so no one has to build a program from scratch.
  • Approval and space. The district approves the club and provides a place to meet.
  • An investment. TMFI has a program cost, which varies with the number of clubs and schools involved. We share pricing and options directly with each district during a consultation, so you see a proposal that fits your size and budget.

Regimus provides the blueprint and connects clubs with mentors and business partners in the community.

Why the timing matters

Districts plan the 2027–2028 school year this spring. Signing on early gives you time to budget, identify advisors, and get the club onto your calendar. It also gives us time to train advisors in the summer, before students walk in the door in August.

Founding districts also help shape how TMFI rolls out for their students. That’s an advantage later districts won’t have.

Who you’d be working with

Regimus is a workforce development and education consulting firm led by LeaVonda Robinson (pronounced Lavonda), a Navy veteran with experience in program development, partnerships, and curriculum design. Regimus has been approved to provide consulting services to a school district, and we bring that same approach to every TMFI launch: clear expectations, trained advisors, and a plan built around your schools.

Where this is headed

Regimus is growing TMFI one district at a time. As funding becomes available through Regimus University and its partners, we plan to add scholarship and small business support for students.
