Our Training Center provides a development program for young adults ages 18–24 who are raising children. The program is designed to help participants strengthen their families while preparing for careers that can lead to long-term financial stability.

Participants receive career and workforce training focused on high-skill, high-wage career pathways, along with counseling and ongoing personal support. The program also develops practical skills that matter at home, including how to prepare nutritious meals, understand healthy food choices, grow food, and care for a garden.

The goal is not simply job placement. It is to help young adults build the skills, confidence, support system, and stability needed to create a stronger future for themselves and their children.

The participants may engage in career preparation, credential or skills training, counseling, parenting and family support, nutrition and cooking instruction, gardening and food production, financial and life skills, leadership development, and connections to employers and career opportunities.

Children remain part of the vision. By supporting the parent while creating a family-centered learning environment, the program helps strengthen two generations at the same time.

Comfortable Housing Designed for Stability and Growth

Our residential spaces provide young women and their children with a safe, comfortable place to live while they participate in the year-long workforce and personal development program.

Each home is thoughtfully designed to feel warm, peaceful, and functional. Residents have space to rest, care for their children, study, and build healthy daily routines while working toward greater independence.

The housing environment is an important part of the program. Stable housing gives participants the opportunity to focus on career training, counseling, parenting, financial preparation, nutrition, and long-term planning without the constant disruption that housing insecurity can create.

A Place to Call Home While Building What Comes Next

Rooms are furnished with the practical comforts needed for everyday family life, including sleeping areas for mother and child, comfortable living space, kitchen access, storage, and areas for studying and completing coursework.

The goal is not to create temporary shelter. It is to provide a stable home environment where families can regroup, learn, grow, and prepare for their next chapter.

Residents live within a supportive community while working toward high-skill, high-wage career opportunities. Throughout the program, they also receive access to counseling, workforce development, life-skills education, nutritional cooking instruction, gardening experiences, and other resources designed to strengthen the entire family.
