Founder & Workforce Systems Architect, Regimus
LeaVonda Robinson is a Navy Veteran and workforce systems architect with more than two decades of cross-sector leadership experience spanning federal agencies, aerospace and defense industries, research universities, healthcare systems, and regional workforce ecosystems.
She founded Regimus to address a structural challenge she consistently observed across institutions: education, policy, funding, and employer demand often operate independently, weakening workforce performance and limiting long-term economic mobility. Her work focuses on designing coordinated workforce and education systems that translate strategy into measurable outcomes.
LeaVonda holds an MBA in Communications Management and Procurement & Acquisition Management from Webster University and a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management with an emphasis in Leadership from Edward Waters College, where she graduated with honors. She also completed advanced training in Journalism and Public Affairs at the Defense Information School.
Her executive experience includes directing communications strategy for a $1 billion aerospace organization, leading enterprise messaging across 26 offices and managing a team of 30 professionals. She oversaw internal audit processes for government contracts and supported major IT and organizational transformation initiatives.
In federal service, she managed more than $60 million in annual financial systems within highly regulated environments, overseeing payroll, property, staffing actions, and compliance functions requiring disciplined oversight and data integrity.
At a Carnegie R1 research university, she managed multi-million-dollar contracts and grants, ensuring regulatory compliance while advancing institutional research and workforce priorities. Her experience across procurement, grants management, communications, and compliance provides a comprehensive understanding of how workforce systems operate under policy and funding constraints.
LeaVonda has served on regional chamber boards, business-education partnership committees, museum leadership boards, and community foundations, contributing to economic development and workforce alignment initiatives. She brings a systems-level perspective that integrates policy, education, industry demand, and governance into cohesive talent strategies.
Through Regimus, she applies Capacity-First Workforce Design™ principles to help workforce boards, education systems, and industry leaders build future-ready workforce ecosystems. Her focus is disciplined execution, strategic alignment, and long-term regional competitiveness.
