Our Partner
Houston Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC), designated ZHU, is responsible for managing en-route air traffic across a large portion of the south-central United States. The center oversees high-altitude aircraft movement between terminal airspace facilities, ensuring safe separation, efficient routing, and continuous coordination across one of the nation’s busiest and most weather-impacted regions.

The Challenge
Houston ARTCC needed a structured way to communicate payroll structure, accountability, and decision authority across operations managers, frontline managers, and executive leadership. The absence of formal training resulted in recurring payroll errors and inefficiencies. At the same time, the center required support for a high-visibility 50th Anniversary initiative involving FAA leadership, state officials, and dignitaries, while also honoring the families who support air traffic controllers. Both efforts required disciplined execution, cross-stakeholder coordination, and cultural awareness.
The Results
We designed and managed a practical, role-specific payroll training program that aligned operational leadership with payroll structure and communication standards. The program improved payroll accuracy, reduced errors, and eliminated the need for repeated corrective training—strengthening operational reliability and management confidence.
In addition, Regimus served on the 50th Anniversary Planning Committee and supported the successful execution of a VIP and family-centered milestone program. The initiative met federal protocol expectations, strengthened relationships with FAA leadership and state officials, and delivered a meaningful recognition experience for air traffic controllers and their families.
